School Work

Why does it always seem that teachers get together and give out all the test or projects at the same time? Its like teachers dont understand that us students are taking four other classes in addition to theirs. I swear that some teachers do this just to get a kick out of the fact that we as student will have to rush around all day with classes then find time to do work or study. Then on top of all of this if we dont get a good grade its our faults. The school work is more advanced today then it was back when our professors went to school. Just because our technology has more capabilities then theres doesnt mean we should have harder work. I do not feel that tests should be a judgment of whether or not we understand the material tought in class. Majority of the students I talk to forget the information they study for a test right after they take that test. To me its pointless to test ones knowledge by taking exams. I feel that projects with the information tought in class would benefit us more than taking a test. Some people, like me are just not good test takers. We freeze up and forget the information we studied for because we are so overwhelmed with the 100 questions or multiple essay questions. Grades would be much better in college and the success rate of people graduating would be higher if we would just be able to use the information we learned by applying it to real life situations instead of trying to memorize if for an hour test. I might be wrong here but i feel that majority if students would agree with me
